Client: LNG producer, FPSO reaching end of life.

Tough Problem: Client concerned about failure of seal on bulkhead which formed a major part of the structure separating engine and pump rooms.

Practical Solution: Specialised displacement inspection equipment was employed to monitor movement of the bulkhead during a complete offtake of hydrocarbons.

SVT's one time design and installation of unique fabricated brackets to mount lasers and receivers allowed for accurate measurements of ullage and in turn identification of suspected cause of seal failure.
